Is a health coach for me? Honoring your truth.

A favorite lesson of mine was from a Tibetan Rinpoche who would teach us very clear and ritualistic, specific practices. He would then follow them with-”Do not believe me, go home, meditate on it and question it”. We also had opportunities to share doubts, discomforts, uncertainties ,etc. with him directly in conversation. A profoundly healing and supportive experience.

With that, I want to help you see the benefits of working in a 1:1 container with me.

The journey starts with a complimentary wellness call to learn about you and to lean into which container could best serve you. This serves to open the conversation, allow for all parts of you, emotions, needs, thoughts and yeses and nos. There truly is nothing more powerful than a clear yes or no. If I only get to have this experience with you-you deciding and declaring your true yes or no-we have already worked together and connected deeply.

The journey to wellness is unique for everyone and although we can boil down to just a number of root causes to get you symptom free, the experience is different for everyone. Being seen in all of your wholeness for where you are in each moment of the journey while being held is coregulating for your nervous system which is required for healing. If our nervous system is on alert all the time, we cannot fully heal.

Functional medicine, Integrative health and Holistic living can get pricey and confusing. It is too common to buy a supplement that you hope will solve your issues; but in reality, it will only support you once you have worked on your foundational health; now, to only to find you spent a lot of money and are not feeling any better. Systematic approaches to supplementation with vitamins and herbals requires an understanding of what to approach first and when to stop. You should not need all supplementation forever and if you choose to take something long-term, you should know exactly why and what it is doing to support your body. This will actually save you money in the end.

Habit change can be difficult and we often cannot see the stories we create for ourselves or why we struggle to stick to commitments. In a coaching container, we have LOTS of tools for this to work from many angles. These are just a few..

  • Mindset-questioning our beliefs

  • Values-Getting clarity on your north star

  • Somatic explorations-getting into the cellular knowing specific to you. We do not need to know the stories or events, we need to know how the body processed and how we can support. This changes how safe you feel in the world and gives you new skills such a s choice, agency and coherence, to rewire giving yourself more loves to make as you navigate life.

It is also important during healing to know what to do if you are having a new symptom, how to avoid uncomfortable herxheimer reactions during a protocol, know what is normal, or what you may personally be better off avoiding. Not all health and wellness habits or protocols are right for everyone at every time. Often, you can just add more stress to your body while you are working extremely hard to get healthy-this is one of the most common things I see and also most difficult to stop as you are convinced it is the right path. No wonder it is hard to stay on track!

Learning these strategies and lifestyle habits took me years and is a never ending education for me-I want to simplify it for you so that you can put your energy into healing and growing so that you can create your most desired life.

We start with a complimentary call together.

With love,

Karena
